🧀 Ingredients

frozen lasagna
  • 1 frozen lasagna (store-bought or homemade)

📖 Instructions

Place the frozen lasagna in the pre-heated air fryer basket.

Cook the lasagna for 25-30 minutes at 350°F (180°C).

Check on the lasagna halfway through. If the edges are browning too quickly, you can cover the lasagna with a small piece of aluminum foil to prevent overcooking.

Once the lasagna is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly, carefully remove it from the air fryer using a spatula or tongs. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

🙋🏻‍♂️ FAQs

Do you leave the film on frozen lasagna in air fryer?

No, you should not leave the film on frozen lasagna when cooking it in an air fryer. Before placing the lasagna in the air fryer, remove it from its packaging and discard any plastic wrap, film, or foil. This ensures proper cooking and prevents any potential messes or safety hazards.

How do you reheat frozen lasagna in the air fryer?

To reheat your air-fried lasagna, simply place it back in the air fryer at 350°F (180°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is melted. Alternatively, you can reheat it in the microwave or oven.

Can I put a foil tray in an air fryer?

Yes, it is safe to use foil in the air fryer.

⏲ Equipment

An Air Fryer: This recipe has been tested using two air fryer models:

  • Instant Vortex Plus 6-Quart Air Fryer Oven. This air fryer has a useful viewing window that allows you to monitor the food as it cooks. This model always cooks food a bit quicker than my Cosori model so reduce the cooking time as needed.
  • Cosori Max XL Large Cooker. It has a capacity of 5.8 quarts which is quite large.

🍶 Storage

To store leftover air-fried lasagna, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and place it in an airtight container. Store it in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.

♨️ Reheating

To reheat your air-fried lasagna, simply place it back in the air fryer at 350°F (180°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is melted. Alternatively, you can reheat it in the microwave or oven.

👨🏻‍🍳 Top tips

  • Preheat the air fryer: Always preheat your air fryer to the recommended temperature before cooking the lasagna, as this ensures even cooking and crisping.
  • Remove all packaging: Take off any plastic wrap, film, or foil from the frozen lasagna before placing it in the air fryer to avoid potential hazards and messes.
